Toilet blockages are unfortunately one of the most common plumbing problems. On the ground floor, a blocked toilet can often be caused by tree roots growing and interfering with the pipes or soft blockages such as the build-up of toilet tissue or the flushing of a tampon.

On any floor higher than that, the problem is usually a soft blockage. It can sometimes also be the case that a clip-on toilet deodoriser has fallen in and been caught in the pipe.

If your toilet is blocked, call the team at Crossingham’s Plumbing Service and we can come remove the blockage, no worries.

Choosing the correct size water heater for your home or business can depend on a variety of factors. Things like how many people will be using it, how much hot water is being used on a regular basis, what time of day the water is being used, and so on. Our experienced team can sit down with you and assist you in choosing the right hot water system for your needs.

Crossingham’s Plumbing Service is based in Taree and has been established there for more than 40 years. We also provide plumbing services throughout the Manning region. In particular we cover Wingham, Old Bar, Harrington and surrounding districts.

Preventing blocked drains can be helped along by making sure you perform a few small tasks regularly to ensure nothing foreign ends up down the drain. This includes making sure you clear hair and other soft items from bath and drain covers as it can congeal in drains. It’s also important to remember not to flush anything but toilet paper. Flushing things like kitty litter, tissues, tampons or other sanitary items will quickly block your pipes and give you trouble.
